MLS: Columbus 1, Colorado 1 (draw)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Conor Casey scored on a header in the 84th minute Sunday as Colorado and the Crew played to a 1-1 draw in an MLS contest at Columbus, Ohio.

Casey’s equalizer snapped a three-game winning streak for the Rapids, who are 3


1 in their last four games. The draw left Colorado with a record of 7-9-7, good for fourth place in the Western Conference.

The Crew’s goal came from Eddie Gaven in the 45th minute.

Alejandro Moreno missed a chance to give Columbus a 2-0 lead in the 67th minute when his shot on goal hit off the left post.

Columbus (6-7-10) is 0-2-3 in its last five games, and is fifth in the East.
