MLB: Arizona 13, Colorado 7

PHOENIX, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Tony Clark hit a two-run single and a three-run homer Saturday night, as the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Colorado Rockies, 13-7.

Eric Byrnes -- who started the rout with an RBI double in the bottom of the first -- had two runs, three hits and three RBI. Jeff Salazar and Chris B. Young both had two RBI and Scott Drew had one.

Mark Reynolds had a run and three hits, as the Diamondbacks got the second win in their last three games.

The winner was Edgar Gonzalez (7-2).

Colorado got two RBI each from Garrett Atkins and Troy Tulowitzki. Three others had one RBI each, and five players had two hits for the Rockies, who had won their previous two games.

The losing pitcher was starter Elmer Dessens (2-2).
