MLB: San Francisco 5, Milwaukee 4

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Rich Aurilia hit an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday as the San Francisco Giants edged Milwaukee, 5-4, to finish a three-game sweep.

San Francisco catcher Guillermo Rodriguez set the stage for the winning hit with his first career homer, a two-run shot that tied the score, 4-4, in the seventh.

Randy Winn had a hit and two RBI, while Aurilia had two hits for the Giants, who have won four in a row and nine of their last 11 games.

The winning pitcher was reliever Steve Kline (1-2). Steve Hennessey earned his 14th save.

Milwaukee got an RBI single from J.J. Hardy in the second and a three-run homer from Ryan Braun in the third. Both players had two hits for the reeling Brewers, who have dropped 10 of their last 13 games.

The loser was Scott Linebrink (4-5).
