SNOQUALMIE, Wash., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Ray Stewart, who made the field in a qualifying tournament, had a 6-under 66 Friday to take the lead at the Champions Tour Boeing Classic at Snoqualmie, Wash.

Stewart, whose only other appearance on the circuit this year came at the British Senior Open -- where he missed the cut -- had a bogey-free round over the TPC-Snoqualmie Ridge course.

Andy Bean was among the group at 69 while Nick Price -- who is seeking his first Champions Tour triumph after turning 50 earlier this year -- was in a large group at 70. Price had a wild round that included an eagle, five birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey.
