ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Dioner Navarro had a two-run homer and Carl Crawford had three hits and two RBI Friday night, as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays routed Oakland, 12-2.
The Devil Rays pounded out 15 hits, three of them coming from Delmon Young.

James Shields (10-8) coasted to the win, giving up two runs on nine hits in 8 1/3 innings. It was his longest effort in almost three months.
Lenny DiNardo (8-7) was roughed up for six runs on eight hits in two-plus innings. It was his shortest outing of the season, and his first loss in eight starts.
Oakland had a five-game winning streak snapped.
Navarro's homer gave the Devil Rays a 2-0 lead in the second.
