Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Scott Sealy put Kansas City in front for good in the 68th minute Wednesday as the Wizards defeated Chicago 3-2.
Kansas City's offensive outburst came after it had been shut out in two straight games.
Sealy's goal came two minutes after Chicago's Gonzalo Segares was sent off for picking up his second yellow card -- two of six the Fire received in the game.
Jose Burciaga gave Kansas City a 3-1 lead in the 82nd minute, after which Chicago crept back within one on a goal by Dasan Robinson.
Chicago remained three points behind Columbus for the last spot in the playoffs. Kansas City moved to fourth in the East, one behind third-place New York and seven points behind front running New England.
