ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Julio Lugo and Coco Crisp both had two runs batted in Tuesday, helping the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 8-6.

David Ortiz added an RBI and scored twice for the Red Sox, who have won four of their last six games. Mike Lowell, J.D. Drew and Jason Varitek each scored a run.

Jon Lester (2-0) allowed five runs on four hits and four walks over 5 1/3 innings but still got his first victory since his July 23 return from battling lymphoma.

Jonathan Papelbon pitched 1 1/3 scoreless frames to record his 30th save, becoming the first Red Sox reliever to have back- to-back 30-save campaigns.

Tampa starter Andy Sonnanstine (2-9) gave up seven runs on eight hits with no walks over five innings.

Akinori Iwamura hit a three-run homer and Carlos Pena added a two-run shot for Tampa Bay, which has lost four of its last five games.
