NFL: N.Y. Giants 13, Baltimore 12

BALTIMORE, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Eli Manning connected on 10-of-13 passes for 114 yards and a touchdown Sunday night, as the New York Giants beat Baltimore, 13-12, in a preseason game.

Steve Smith caught the TD pass but sustained a concussion on the play and had to leave the game. Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 70 yards on seven carries.

Steve McNair went 5-for-8 for 29 yards, and Kyle Boller went 6-for-9 for 73 yards for the Ravens.

The Giants lost two defensive starters to injuries -- safety Will Demps (dislocated elbow) and cornerback Sam Madison (hamstring). New York wide receiver Michael Jennings ruptured an Achilles tendon after pulling down three catches for 31 yards.

Ravens’ cornerback Samari Rolle and receiver Mark Clayton both sustained sprained ankles.

Matt Stover kicked a 47-yard field goal for Baltimore with less than two minutes left in the first half.

Josh Huston booted a 50-yard field goal for the Giants.
