GREEN BAY, Wis., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Aaron Rodgers hit 10-of-16 passes for 97 yards and a pair of TDs and the defense scored twice Saturday night as the Green Bay Packers beat Seattle, 48-13.
Brett Favre was 7-of-12 for 74 yards and a TD for the Packers, who scored their most points in a preseason game since a 75-0 win over Cedar Rapids in 1938.
James Jones caught four passes for 58 yards and two TDs and Brandon Jackson rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
Seneca Wallace completed only 6-of-15 passes and third-stringer David Greene was just 6-of-17 for 68 yards and three interceptions for the Seahawks -- who played without starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. He is still recovering from off-season surgery on his non-throwing shoulder.
