
IRVING, Texas, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Marion Barber rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night, as the Dallas Cowboys beat Denver, 31-20, in a preseason contest.
Tyson Thompson picked up 75 yards rushing and Tony Romo completed 11-of-18 passes for 122 yards -- giving up on interception -- for the Cowboys. Brad Johnson hit on 6-of-9 passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the second half for Dallas.
Julius Jones scored a touchdown on the ground, and Nick Folk kicked a 52-yard field goal for the Cowboys.
Patrick Ramsey was 11-of-21 for 178 yards and two TDs for Denver -- including a 90-yard strike to Brian Clark in the third quarter. Ramsey threw one interception.
Jay Cutler completed 7-of-13 for 58 yards and Travis Henry gained 25 yards on 10 carries.
Jason Elam kicked field goals of 33 yards and 20 yards for the Broncos.
