MALMO, Sweden, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- James Kingston and Martin Kaymer are co-leaders by one-shot after 54 holes of the Scandinavian Masters at Malmo, Sweden.
In Saturday’s third round, Kaymer, who also had a piece of the lead after Friday’s second round, shot 2-under-par 68. Kingston, looking for his first European tour title, shot 3-under 67. The pair has three-round totals of 7-under 203.
"(Sunday) I will try to play just as I have for three days,” the 41 year-old Kingston said. "I know I've been in this situation before but I don't want to put pressure on myself by letting my mind wander."
Kaymer's only hiccup Saturday was a bogey at No. 6, when his tee shot found the water.
"That was a really bad shot and it was not the right club," said Kaymer. "Generally, it was a good round."
Three players are tied for third at 4-under 206.
