Three tied at the Scandinavian Masters

Aug. 17, 2007 at 7:40 PM

MALMO, Sweden, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Henrik Nystrom and Martin Kaymer both shot 2-under 68 Friday to create a three-way tie at the top at the European Tour's Scandinavian Open at Malmo, Sweden.

The pair is tied with England’s Sam Walker (70) with overall 36-hole totals of 5-under 135.

"I played very well in Moscow (two weeks ago), but the only thing I didn't do was hole any putts," said Walker, who had a share of second place after Thursday's first round. "If I'd holed even a few more there I'd have been comfortably in the top five, but I had to settle for ninth.”

James Kingston (68) is alone in fourth at 4-under 136.

Defending champion Marc Warren (145) and American John Daly (147) missed the cut.
