ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones’s appearance on "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling" in Orlando, Fla., did not violate his contract with the team.
Even though he got into the ring, he didn’t do much of anything, the Nashville Tennessean reported Monday.
Jones may have been shown leaving in a neck brace and on a stretcher, but he was reportedly the victim of a make-believe injury during a "fight" backstage with wrestler Ron “The Truth” Killings.
"Your contract won't allow you to touch or be touched. Ain't that a (expletive),'' Killings yelled to Jones while he was in the ring. "We don't have to worry about you whipping no one's (butt) around here. You better watch your back, Pacman.''
Jones, who is currently suspended from the NFL, told Killings he'd see him backstage after "security" kept them apart.
