Eagles' RB Moats injured in preseason game

BALTIMORE, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Philadelphia running back Ryan Moats left the field on a stretcher Monday in the third quarter of the Eagles' preseason game against Baltimore.

Moats was running toward the right sideline when his right ankle got caught underneath a tackler. Moats laid on the field for several minutes before being wheeled off on a stretcher.

The injury was believed to be a fractured right ankle.

In two seasons with the Eagles, Moats has appeared in 15 games with 77 carries for 347 yards and three touchdowns.
