ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Frank Catalanotto hit a go-ahead homer in the fifth inning Friday night and drove in a career-high five runs as the Texas Rangers out-lasted Tampa Bay, 7-4.

With the Rangers trailing by a run in the fifth, Jarrod Saltalamacchia opened the inning with a double and moved to third on a bunt single from Ramon Vazquez. Catalanotto then hit his homer to right, one of three hits he had on the night.

Mike Wood (2-1) picked up the win with 2 1/3 innings of two-hit relief. C.J. Wilson earned his fourth save by recording the final four outs.

Andy Sonnanstine (1-8) gave up five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 to take the loss. He dropped his eighth straight decision.
