CHICAGO, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Four men have been charged in last month's home-invasion robbery of Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker, The Chicago Tribune reported Friday.
Tandra Simonton, a spokeswoman for the Cook County state's attorney's office, said the four -- Phillip Allison, 28; Antoine Larkins, 28; Demorris Hill, 25; and Gregory Reedfields, 23 -- faced armed robbery and kidnapping charges.
Walker was bound with duct tape and held at gunpoint July 9 while his home on the city's North Side was robbed of jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash. His car -- a Mercedes -- was stolen.
It was spotted by police, who pulled it over after the driver ran a stop sign and found two people inside.
Walker has moved out of the house, saying he didn't feel safe.
The Chicago native starred at Mount Carmel High School and was the first of two NBA players robbed this summer in Chicago. The other was New York Knicks center Eddy Curry.
Neither was injured.
