MLB: Seattle 10, Baltimore 3

BALTIMORE, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez hit two home runs and had four RBI Tuesday as the Seattle Mariners totaled 19 hits in a 10-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.

Jose Guillen went 4-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored, and Ichiro Suzuki was 3-for-5 and scored twice for the Mariners, who remained a game behind Detroit for the lead in the American League wild card race.

Jeff Weaver (3-10) was the winning pitcher as three Seattle relievers held the Orioles in check following his six innings of work. Weaver, who had lost his last four decisions, scattered 11 hits and gave up three runs to win for the first time since June 25.

Seattle has won seven times of its last 10 games.

Orioles left-hander Jamie Walker (1-2) took the loss after allowing a two-run home run by Ibanez.

Ramon Hernandez went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Baltimore and Melvin Mora 3-for-3.
