TORONTO, July 29 (UPI) -- Mexican Cuauhtemoc Blanco had an assist in his Major League Soccer debut Sunday as the Chicago Fire beat Toronto FC, 3-0.

The Fire snapped a six-game winless streak and won for just the second time in 13 games.

Ivan Guerrero scored his first goal in more than two years, Calen Carr had a goal and an assist, and substitute Floyd Franks also scored as Chicago earned Juan Carlos Osorio his first win as head coach.

Chicago (5-8-4) and Toronto (5-9-4) are both 11 points behind first-place New England in the MLS Eastern Conference.
