MILWAUKEE, July 22 (UPI) -- Joe Ogilvie holed out for an eagle from the 16th fairway Sunday to win the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee -- his first PGA Tour win in 230 career starts.
"To get my first PGA Tour win by holing out with a sand wedge is pretty special," said Ogilvie, who added a birdie at the 18th.
Ogilvie shot a 3-under 67 in the final round, coming from one shot back to win by four strokes at 14-under 266.
Tim Clark fell short of his first PGA Tour win in his 137th start, managing a 1-over 71. He was tied for the lead with Ogilvie before Ogilvie made his eagle.
Third-round leader Tim Herron shot a 72 Sunday. He and Clark tied for second place with Charlie Wi (68) at 10-under 270.
Kenny Perry, the 2003 winner, closed with a 71 and led a group of four players who shared fifth place at 272. The other three were Jeff Maggert (69), Steve Flesch (68) and Bob Heintz (68).
