LOS ANGELES, July 22 (UPI) -- Second seed American James Blake and Czech Radek Stepanek Saturday advanced to the finals at the Countrywide Classic in Los Angeles.

Blake rebounded from a second-set loss to beat seventh-seeded South Korean Hyung-Taik Lee, 6-3, 4-6, 3-6.

Stepanek reached Sunday's final when German wild card Nicolas Kiefer withdrew before their Saturday match due to a knee injury.
