MLB: Florida 11, Cincinnati 1

MIAMI, July 21 (UPI) -- Hanley Ramirez hit a three-run homer in an eight-run eighth inning Saturday night, as the Florida Marlins pounded the Cincinnati Reds, 11-1.

Jason Wood was 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored, and Matt Treanor also was 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI for the Marlins.

Winning pitcher Byung-Hyun Kim (5-5) allowed one run on five hits in seven innings.

Edwin Encarnacion drove in the Reds' only run.

Bobby Livingston (2-1) suffered his first career loss, giving up three runs on eight hits in six-plus innings.
