MLS All-Stars defeat Scottish powerhouse

COMMERCE CITY, Colo., July 19 (UPI) -- Juan Pablo Angel and Juan Toja scored first-half goals Thursday night as the Major League Soccer All-Stars defeated Celtic FC, 2-0.

Angel and Toja, two of the league's newest stars, are both from Colombia. They gave the North American league a boost of respect by helping defeat the powerhouse club from the Scottish Premier League.

A crowd of 18,661 turned out to see the All-Star Game at the home of the Colorado Rapids.
