Pak is new No. 5 in women's golf rankings

PHILADELPHIA, July 16 (UPI) -- Se Ri Pak collected her fifth Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic championship last weekend and moved up three spots to No. 5 in the women's world golf rankings.

Pak entered the week ranked eighth, but on Sunday won Jamie Farr tournament by three strokes over Morgan Pressel. It was the fifth time since 1998 she won the event and the first-place check of $195,000 pushed her career winnings to more than $995,000.

Lorena Ochoa retained her No. 1 spot atop the women's rankings followed by Karrie Webb, Annika Sorenstam, Cristie Kerr and Pak.

Pressel is ranked sixth followed by, in order, Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer, Juli Inkster and Mi Hyun Kim.
