MLB: LA Dodgers 8, San Francisco 7 (12)

SAN FRANCISCO, July 14 (UPI) -- Rafael Furcal hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning Saturday afternoon as the LA Dodgers edged San Francisco, 8-7.

The wild contest included 30 hits and four errors -- three by the Dodgers.

LA's Jeff Kent had four RBI, three with his 11th home run this season in the fifth. Wilson Betemit hit a solo homer in the fifth, his 10th round-tripper of the season.

Furcal had two hits and two RBI, Russell Martin knocked in a run, Betemit had four hits, and three others had two hits for the Dodgers, who have won three in a row.

The winner was Mark Hendrickson (4-4).

Rudy Seanez earned his first save.

San Francisco's Randy Winn accounted for five runs with an RBI single and a grand slam homer. Pedro Feliz and Dave Roberts each drove in one run.

Winn had three hits and three players had two hits each for the Giants, who have split their last four games.

The loser was Patrick Misch (0-1).
