Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

MILWAUKEE, July 13 (UPI) -- Yorvit Torrealba, Matt Holliday and Troy Tulowitzki homered Friday night, as the Colorado Rockies beat Milwaukee, 10-6, for their sixth win in seven games.
Starting pitcher Jeff Francis and Todd Helton drove in two runs each for the Rockies, who handed the Brewers their sixth loss in seven outings.
Francis (9-5) got the win despite giving up six runs over five innings.
Reliever Carlos Villanueva (6-1) took the loss, giving up five runs in three frames.
Milwaukee's Prince Fielder hit his 30th homer of 2007, tops in the National League. Ryan Braun had two home runs and four RBI in the losing effort.
The game was tied, 5-5, going into the fifth, but Tulowitzki and Torrealba both hit two-run homers in the inning.
