MLB: Seattle 7, Oakland 1

OAKLAND, Calif., July 6 (UPI) -- Joe Vidro drove in the go-ahead runs in the seventh Friday night and Dan Haren had a 10-game winning streak snapped as the Seattle Mariners beat Oakland, 7-1.

Haren had gone 10-0 in 16 starts since losing his first two appearances of the season. He led the American League coming into the game with a 2.20 earned run average.

Willie Bloomquist reached on a one-out, seventh-inning single in a 1-1 game and a throwing error by third baseman Marco Scutaro put Ichiro Suzuki aboard.

Vidro doubled, scoring both runners and driving Haren (10-3) from the game.

Adrian Beltre added a three-run homer in the eighth as Seattle beat Oakland for the fifth time in seven games.

The win went to Eric O'Flaherty (6-0), who worked a perfect sixth inning in relief of Jeff Weaver.
