Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

DENVER, July 7 (UPI) -- Yorvit Torrealba's third hit of the game Friday night, a two-out single in the 11th, drove in Garrett Atkins, as the Colorado Rockies beat Philadelphia, 7-6.
The Rockies overcame a five-run deficit in the late innings to win their fourth in a row.
Colorado scored twice in the sixth and once each in the seventh and eighth to get within one run. The Rockies tied it in the ninth on Brad Hawpe's two-out homer.
Atkins drew a one-out walk in the 11th off J.D. Durbin (0-2) and Hawpe singled Atkins to second. After Troy Tulowitzki struck out, stranding his sixth and seventh runners of the game, Torrealba ended it with his ground ball up the middle.
The win went to Manny Corpas (3-2), who worked a 1-2-3 11th inning.
