MLB: Boston 15, Tampa Bay 4

BOSTON, July 5 (UPI) -- Coco Crisp had a grand slam and combined with Mike Lowell to produce 10 RBI Thursday night as the Boston Red Sox blasted Tampa Bay, 15-4.

The Red Sox piled up 21 hits and scored 13 times in the first three innings, while handing the Devil Rays their 11th straight loss.

Crisp and Lowell drove in five runs each, with Lowell going 5-for-6.

The offensive display made a winner out of Josh Beckett (12-2), who allowed three runs on nine hits in six innings.

J.P. Howell (1-3) could retire only two batters while being roughed up for six runs on six hits.

The grand slam by Crisp highlighted a six-run first inning, and Lowell hit a three-run shot in the second.

Boston has won four in a row.
