MORRISTOWN, N.J., July 3 (UPI) -- A New Jersey judge says that a woman said to be the girlfriend of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick cannot move her children to a house he owns.
Sharon Shenocca, a former receptionist for the New York Giants, is in the midst of a divorce from her husband, The New York Post reported Tuesday. Judge Stephen Hansbury awarded residential custody of the children to Vincent Shenocca at his home in Morris Township, N.J.
"She asked this court to permit her to take the children from their home, schools and neighborhood to a strange community in a different state to a house she cannot pay for and in which she has established no legal right to reside," the judge said at Monday's hearing.
Vincent Shenocca accuses his wife of adultery with Belichick, the Post said. His wife did not admit that she was in a romantic relationship but said a "family friend" was paying for the townhouse in the gentrified Park Slope neighborhood in Brooklyn and would take care of expenses.
