Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 1 (UPI) -- The Wizards and Toronto FC played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a Major League Soccer game at Kansas City.
The Wizards' Michael Harrington scored the game's first goal in the 18th minute. Toronto's Daniele Dichio scored the equalizer at the outset of the second half, in the 46th minute.
The Wizards (6-4-3) controlled the majority of the game, but came away without the full three points for a win.
Toronto is 4-7-2 after failing to win for the second week in a row.
Toronto travels to Real Salt Lake Wednesday and Kansas City is home to D.C. United the same day.
