Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

SAN FRANCISCO, July 1 (UPI) -- Ryan Klesko hit a two-run homer and Tim Lincecum shut out the Diamondbacks for seven innings Sunday afternoon, as the San Francisco Giants beat Arizona, 13-0.
Klesko scored twice and drove in a season high four runs. Bengie Molina belted a three-run homer and Kevin Frandsen drove in two for the Giants, who won their second str5aight game.
Lincecum (3-2) scattered three hits and struck out a career-high 12 for his first win since May 22.
Barry Bonds hit a two-run double -- his 2,900th career hit. He walked twice and scored twice.
Micah Owings (5-3) gave up seven earned runs and eight hits in four innings, with three walks and two strikeouts for Arizona, which has lost four out of six.
