PHILADELPHIA, June 28 (UPI) -- Jimmy Rollins tripled in the tying run in the eighth and singled in the game-winner in the 10th Thursday as the Philadelphia Phillies beat Cincinnati, 8-7.
The Phillies won for the third time in four games, thanks in part to a pair of two-run homers by Chase Utley. Both blasts came on 3-0 counts.
Clay Condrey (3-0) worked the 10th inning to get the win while the deciding run was scored off Victor Santos (1-3).
Philadelphia came from behind three times, with Rollins finishing off the last of the rallies when he delivered a two-out triple in the eighth.
Pinch-hitter Rod Barajas walked to open the 10th and moved to second on a one-out single by Abraham Nunez. Rollins then lined a 3-2 pitch to right-center, bringing home pinch-runner Jayson Werth.
