Indians second baseman Josh Barfield was attempting to steal second base when he was tagged out by Guzman for the last out of the inning. On the tag, Guzman's thumb hit Barfield's helmet. Guzman never left the game and had two more at-bats.

Guzman was batting .329 with two homers and 14 RBI this season.
