MLB: Chicago Sox 5, Tampa Bay 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 25 (UPI) -- Andy Gonzalez went 4-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored, and Paul Konerko drove in the winning run Monday as the Chicago White Sox beat Tampa Bay 5-4.

Scott Podsednik scored two runs for the White Sox, who won for just the sixth time in their last 28 games.

John Danks (4-6) got the win after pitching five innings. The left-hander gave up four runs on four hits with four walks. Bobby Jenks pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his 19th save.

Jonny Gomes homered and Josh Wilson drove in two runs for the Devil Rays.

J.P. Howell pitched five innings, yielding three runs on eight hits.

Casey Fossum (5-7) took over for Howell to start the sixth and the White Sox greeted him with three consecutive base hits to tie the game at 4-4.
