SALT LAKE CITY, June 23 (UPI) -- Robbie Findley scored twice in his debut with Real Salt Lake Saturday night, leading his new team to a 2-1 win over D.C. United.

It was the first victory of the season for Real Salt Lake (1-5-6), which had been the only MLS team without a win this season.

Luciano Emilio scored for United, which failed for only the first time in eight games to pick up points.

Findley opened the scoring in the 41st minute with his third goal of the season, and then scored on another breakaway five minutes into the second half to put Real Salt Lake up, 2-0.

Real Salt Lake acquired Findley Thursday in a trade with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
