COMMERCE CITY, Colo., June 23 (UPI) -- Juan Toja scored the game's only goal in the 62nd minute Saturday night as FC Dallas beat Colorado, 1-0, in an MLS contest at Commerce City, Colo.
The victory helped the Hoops bounce back from a surprising and disappointing 4-0 loss to expansion Toronto FC Sunday.
FC Dallas improved to 8-6-1 for the season, and has the most wins in the league.
Toja's fourth goal of the season skipped past Colorado goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul to give the Rapids (4-6-3) their fourth loss in a row.
Coundoul made five saves. His Dallas counterpart, Dario Sala, made two.
The Rapids sank to 0-7-3 against Dallas in regular season play since a 2-1 home win Sept. 4, 2004.
The Hoops are home to archrival Houston next Saturday, while Colorado travels to D.C. United Thursday.
