Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
PITTSFORD, N.Y., June 22 (UPI) -- Mi Hyun Kim and Kyung Kim" class="tpstyle">In-Kyung Kim shared the lead Friday after 36 holes of the Wegmans LPGA at Pittsford, N.Y.
Mi Hyun Kim, a consistent challenger on the LPGA Tour, fired a 4-under 68 to get to 137. In-Kyung Kim, who last month had the first top-10 finish of her tour career, shot a 67.
Both players were two shots in front Angela Stanford, who shot a 69 to reach 5-under 139.
World No. 1 Lorena Ochoa shared fourth place at 140 with Lindsey Wright, while first-round leader Cristie Kerr managed only a 75 and was tied for sixth at 141.
In-Kyung Kim, 19, birdied six holes in a nine-hole stretch beginning at No. 4.
