
'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 18 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Croat Ivan Ljubicic came from behind Monday to beat Frenchman Gael Monfils 3-6, 6-3, 6-0 in the men's section of the Ordina Open.
Also, Dutch veteran Peter Wessels, a qualifier this week, defeated Frenchman Nicolas Devilder 6-4, 6-3.
In other Monday action, Belgian Kristof Vliegen topped veteran Frenchman Fabrice Santoro 6-3, 1-1, French qualifier Antony Dupuis beat Dutch wild card Thiemo De Bakker 7-5, 7-6 (7-1) and Italian Andrea Seppi beat Austrian Alexander Peya 6-4, 6-4. Santoro retired because of a stomach problem.
Two matches were suspended because of rain. Sixth-seeded Juan Ignacio Chela" class="tpstyle">Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela was tied with Frenchman Julien Benneteau 2-2 and Thai Danai Udomchoke was leading Lukas Dlouhy" class="tpstyle">Czech Lukas Dlouhy 2-1 when play was halted for the day.
