CARSON, Calif., June 17 (UPI) -- Newcomers Edson Buddle and Abel Xavier combined for one of Los Angeles' goals Sunday in a 3-2 win over Real Salt Lake that kept the Utah club winless.

Nate Jaqua and Cobi Jones also scored for the Galaxy, spoiling Chris Brown's two-goal effort for Salt Lake.

It was the first victory for Los Angele since a 3-1 win over CD Chivas USA April 28, and just the second for the club this season.

Real Salt Lake ended a three-game scoreless drought, but is still winless in 11 games.
