Tommie Harris' wife dies

CARSON, Calif., June 17 (UPI) -- Maykel Galindo scored his sixth goal of the year Saturday night as Chivas USA beat Colorado, 2-0.
Chivas has won three straight and is unbeaten in its last five games.
Galindo scored in the 63rd minute, and helped produce an own goal in the second half, as Chivas (5-3-2) climbed from fourth place to second in the Western Conference -- moving ahead of Colorado and Houston.
Brad Guzan made five saves in Chivas' fifth shutout of the season.
Colorado's Terry Cooke got tagged with the own goal after Galindo -- trying to get the ball in front of the goal -- screened Cooke out and the ball bounced off the Rapids defender into the net.
