Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
LOS ANGELES, June 16 (UPI) -- Basketball star Lisa Leslie is a new mom after giving birth to a daughter, Lauren, in Los Angeles late Friday.
Leslie is a three-time most valuable player for the Women's National Basketball Association and sat out the current season due to her pregnancy.
Lauren, who was delivered at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, is the first child for Leslie and her husband, Michael Lockwood. The couple was married in 2005.
