NEW YORK, June 10 (UPI) -- Alex Rodriguez homered twice and scored four runs and Bobby Abreu had four hits, four runs and three RBI Sunday as the New York Yankees beat Pittsburgh, 13-6.
Rodriguez had a three-run shot in the fourth inning and two-run job in the sixth. Abreu had a double, a triple, two singles and a walk.
Hideki Matsui drove in two and Derek Jeter scored twice for New York, which won its sixth straight game -- a season high for the team -- and its ninth out of 11.
Sean Henn (2-0) got the victory, pitching two scoreless innings in relief, after Yankees starter Tyler Clippard gave up six runs on six hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings.
Shawn Chacon (2-1) took the loss, serving up seven runs on eight hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Jose Bautista, Jose Castillo and Chris Duffy each drove in two runs for the Pirates, who have lost three straight and nine of their last 12.
