Scott has three-stroke lead at St. Jude

MEMPHIS, June 9 (UPI) -- Adam Scott shot a two-under 68 Saturday to take a three-shot lead after three rounds of the Stanford St. Jude Championship in Memphis.

Scott was at 9-under 201 and looking for his second win of the season. He won the Shell Houston Open in April for his fifth career PGA Tour victory.

David Toms, a two-time St. Jude champion, had a 4-under 66 Saturday to join Brian Gay in a tie for second place at 6-under 204. Toms tied Daisuke Maruyama for the lowest round of the day.

Gay (70) had a two-shot lead over Scott after 11 holes, but made back-to-back bogeys at the 12th and 13th.

Woody Austin was fourth at 205 following a 67 Saturday. Brian Davis (68) was another shot back.

The third round was completed Saturday morning after it was suspended because of darkness Friday night. There was a three-hour weather delay Friday.
