MLS: Houston 2, FC Dallas 1

HOUSTON, June 3 (UPI) -- Ricardo Clark and Joseph Ngwenya scored goals in the second half Sunday as the Dynamo beat FC Dallas, 2-1, in a Major League Soccer contest in Houston.

Clark scored in the 51st minute and Ngwenya scored the game-winner in the 66th minute, while goalkeeper Pat Onstad made four saves, as Houston (3-5-1) broke a three-game losing streak.

Abe Thompson scored in the 32nd minute after assists by Kenny Cooper and Dax McCarty, while goalkeeper Dario Sala made three saves for the Hoops, who continue to lead the Western Conference despite their second straight loss.

Houston is home to Colorado Thursday, while FC Dallas is home to Los Angeles Saturday.
