MLS: Chicago 3, Columbus 2

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., June 3 (UPI) -- Willian Oliveira and Chad Barrett scored unassisted second-half goals Sunday as the Chicago Fire beat Columbus, 3-2, ending a four-game winless streak.

Jeff Curtin scored the game's first goal in the 25th minute on an assist by Oliveira, and Fire goalkeeper Matt Pickens stopped seven shots.

Chicago rose to 4-4-2 overall.

Duncan Oughton scored in the 38th minute after an assist by Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Chad Marshall scored in the 84th minute after assists by Oughton and Alejandro Moreno, and goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum made one stop for the Crew (1-3-5).

Columbus has three losses and two ties in its last five games.

Chicago is at Chivas USA Saturday, and Columbus is home to Houston next Sunday.
