TORONTO, June 2 (UPI) -- Andrew Boyens scored in the 28th minute Saturday afternoon to give Toronto FC a 2-1 victory over Colorado in a Major League Soccer contest in Toronto.

The goal was Boyens' first of his MLS career, and it was Toronto's second win in its last four games after the expansion team started the season with a 0-4 record.

Danny Dichio scored the other goal in the first minute, and Toronto goalkeeper Srdjan Djekanovic made two saves.

Colorado's Herculez Gomez scored his fourth goal of the season in the 32nd minute after an assist by Conor Casey.

Goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul stopped eight shots for the Rapids (4-3-3), who failed to score first for just the second time in 10 games this season.

They were 2

1 in their previous three games.

Toronto is home to New York Wednesday night, and Colorado is at Houston Thursday.
