MILWAUKEE, May 30 (UPI) -- Brian McCann keyed a seven-run rally with a three-run double Wednesday afternoon, boosting the Atlanta Braves to a 9-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Milwaukee led 2-1 going into the eighth inning but Derrick Turnbow walked the first two batters in the inning and Edgar Renteria singled, loading the bases.
Brian Shouse was brought in to face McCann, who delivered a shot into the gap that chased all three runners in.
The Braves weren't finished as Andruw Jones contributed a run-scoring double and Jeff Francoeur, Kelly Johnson and Matt Diaz added RBI singles to build a 9-2 lead and beat Turnbow (1-3).
Winner Tim Hudson (6-3) yielded two earned runs and six hits in seven innings with one walk and three strikeouts.
Prince Fielder hit a solo homer, a run scored on a wild pitch and Bryan Braun hit an RBI groundout for the Brewers who are 5-14 since opening the season 24-10.
