
CLEVELAND, May 27 (UPI) -- LeBron James scored 32 points Sunday night as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat Detroit, 88-82, to avert a 3-0 deficit in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Cleveland out-scored Detroit, 26-19, in the fourth quarter to overcome a 63-62 Pistons lead.
Cleveland had fallen behind after a 46-43 halftime advantage.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 16 points and seven rebounds; Sasha Pavlovic had 13 points, three rebounds and five assists; Drew Gooden had 12 points and six rebounds; and James added nine rebounds and nine assists for the Cavs.
Rasheed Wallace led Detroit with 16 points and five rebounds.
Chris Webber had 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Detroit. Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince scored 13 points apiece for the Pistons, who also had a 2-0 lead before winning in seven games in last year's Eastern semifinal match-up.
