
CINCINNATI, May 27 (UPI) -- Freddy Sanchez had two runs, two hits and four RBI Sunday afternoon as the Pittsburgh Pirates topped Cincinnati, 14-10, for their third win in a row.
Jason Bay blasted a three-run homer and had three runs and three hits. Chris Duffy had two runs, three hits and one RBI; Jack Wilson hit a two-run homer; while starter and winner Zach Duke hit an RBI single for the Pirates -- who had lost three straight before taking three straight in Cincinnati..
Duke (2-5) yielded five runs -- three earned -- and seven hits in five innings.
Adam Dunn hit two homers and knocked in four. Edwin Encarnacion, Alex Gonzalez and Chad Moeller all hit solo homers; Dunn had three hits; and Jeff Conine had two runs, two hits and one RBI for the Reds -- whose losing streak grew to six straight games.
Loser Kirk Saarloos (0-4) yielded five earned runs and five hits without retiring a batter in the top of the first.
