CINCINNATI, May 25 (UPI) -- Chris Duffy drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in an eight-run 10th inning Friday night as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat Cincinnati, 10-4.
Before Pittsburgh's explosion, Jason Bay and Xavier Nady exchanged solo home runs with Cincinnati's Ken Griffey Jr. and Brandon Phillips, which created a 2-2 tie after nine innings.
Griffey's homer was his 10th this month and 11th of the season, and the 574th of his career -- moving him ahead of Harmon Killebrew for eighth place on the all-time list.
Bay, Nady and Ronny Paulino all had two RBI. Duffy, Nady, and Jack Wilson all had two hits for the Pirates, who broke a five-game losing streak.
The winner was Jonah Bayliss (4-2).
Five others had one RBI, and Griffey had two hits for the Reds, who were booed profusely after their fourth straight loss.
The loser was David Weathers (1-3).
